School hours and Terms

Pikkies en Peuters Kleuterskool /Preschool is open during the school terms as determined by the Gauteng Department of Education. Please note that Pikkies en Peuters Kleuterskool / Preschool will be closed for renovations and maintenance during the first week of the June / July school holiday.

Pikkies en Peuters Kleuterskool / Preschool will be closed on all public- and school holidays.

We are open on week days from the second week in January until 15 December.

Children can be accommodated from 07:00 but not earlier

07:00 – 08:00 Arrival

08:15 – 08:30 Toilet routine / Nappy changes and washing hands

08:30 – 08:45 Breakfast served in classes

08:45 – 09:15 Bible, singing and discussions

09:15 – 10:00 Gross motor play outside, sensory tubs

10:00 – 10:15 Sandwiches and fruit served outside on the playground

10:15 – 11:00 Formal class work inside (according to theme)

11:00 – 12:00 Outside play under supervision

12:00 – 12:15 Toilet routine and sleep preparations

12:15 – 13:15 Nap time

13:15 – 13:45 Lunch

13:45 – 17:15 Exciting afternoon program

The afternoon program is dedicated to extracurricular activities.
