The service delivery at Pikkies en Peuters Kleuterskool / Preschool is based on a Christian ethos and a child-centred teaching model. Consistent discipline, routine and planned activities are the starting points in working with our children so that they grow in knowledge and in the confidence in their own capabilities.

We invite all parents to make use of our open-door-policy and to join hands with the teachers, to be involved and participate in projects. Together we can build good relationships between the school and the child's home and attain high service delivery standards at Pikkies en Peuters Kleuterskool / Preschool.

Our MISSION statement is based on the following principles:

To maintain healthy relationships and communication with neighbouring schools, in order for parents to make informed decisions when the time comes for the toddler to advance to Grade R.
To encourage parental involvement and to offer information sessions as well as workshops for parents of preschool children.
To facilitate ongoing formal and informal personnel training to ensure that the school keeps up with the latest technology and educational approaches to the benefit of the toddlers.
To appoint personnel with a passion for children and to support job satisfaction to minimise staff turnover.
To promote constructive, interpersonal, intercultural relationships and respect between learners and personnel, as well as amongst each other.
